Industrial Engineer/ Principal Industrial Engineer

Responsibilities
Analyzes lead times, queue times, work-in-process, cycle times, and throughput to meet customer demand most effectively and efficiently
Builds scalable and sustainable models to optimize product flow, while incorporating cost, schedule, and resource constraints
Understands, maps and optimizes critical path product flow through the factory
Develops optimized scheduling tools and aligns SAP/MRP systems with an executable plan given various capacity constraints
Incorporates complex interdependencies within a system to account for the interaction of multiple cost centers, programs, equipment, and tools
Assist with digital transformation efforts to align with sector and enterprise strategies
Leads and drives positive change using iterative and agile methodologies
Creates new metrics and data visualizations to monitor shop floor performance
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree with 1 year of technical and/or engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a Master's degree with 0 years of experience
Experience with data mining, data analysis, or data visualization software applications
Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance and must have the ability to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Ability to travel at least 10%
Bachelor's degree with 4 years of technical and/or engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a Master's degree with 3 years of engineering, manufacturing, or data analysis experience; OR a PhD degree with 0 years of experience
Experience with data mining, data analysis, or data visualization software applications

Ability to travel at least 10%
Preferred
Bachelor's of Science STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) degree
Experience working with cross-functional teams in an aircraft or other manufacturing environment
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas: VLOOKUP, INDEXMATCH, IF statements, pivot tables, pivot charts etc.)
High proficiency in Microsoft Project (scheduling, resource loading, capacity, optimization)
At least 2 years of demonstrated experience leading project teams
Experience with improving manufacturing workflow using optimization, modeling, or simulation methods
Experience with agile methods of project management or development
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) 'Gold Card' experience/training
Composite bonding knowledge or experience
Familiarization with low observable technologies and techniques
Familiarization with aircraft system testing
