Responsibilities

Provide cybersecurity and network engineering services to support the client's mission
Work with a team of system, network, and infrastructure engineers to identify the right mix of tools and techniques
Investigate new techniques and break free from the legacy model to improve network solutions
Lead the team through a critical approach to network engineering, providing alternatives and customizing solutions
Apply expertise in network engineering to requirements analysis and allocation, architecture analysis and design, and technology assessment
Provide operational support, including tool testing in an operational environment and coordinating and resolving issues with other engineers and operational users

Required

5+ years of experience with network engineering
Experience designing and implementing complex, non-enterprise network architectures
Experience monitoring network performance and security, and documenting network configurations, processes, and procedures
Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to balance requirements, performance, cost, and security concerns
Knowledge of network protocols and technologies, and network hardware, including Cisco and Juniper
Ability to identify and troubleshoot complex and non-trivial network issues
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address network issues
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
HS diploma or GED

Preferred

Experience with Forward Networks, SolarWinds, or VMware
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
