Responsibilities
Prepare daily Profit & Loss (P&L) reports and balance sheet files
Assist with general accounting tasks, including accounts receivable and payable
Support capital accounting and related financial processes
Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data entries
Collaborate with finance team to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Contribute to month-end and quarter-end reporting activities
Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct
To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required
To escalate risk events immediately
To provide input to risk management processes, as required
Qualification
Required
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT
Preferred
Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting is preferred but Computer Science, Economics, Finance, and Mathematics are accepted
Genuine interest in one or more of the program's departmental tracks
