Administrative Accounting Assistant

Platinum Communities is seeking an Administrative Accounting Assistant to provide essential administrative, accounting, and operational support for their communities and corporate office. This role involves assisting with payroll processing, maintaining financial records, and supporting various office management tasks to ensure an organized work environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
Perform accurate data entry for financial and operational records
Prepare, update, and maintain spreadsheets and reports
Support accounting functions as assigned, including tracking expenses and invoices
Coordinate purchasing for all communities
Maintain purchasing records and ensure proper documentation
Communicate with vendors as needed to support operational needs
Support audits, inspections, and reporting requirements
Maintain organized and accurate records in accordance with compliance requirements
Ensure files are properly maintained, stored, and accessible
Maintain a tidy, organized, and well-stocked office environment
Order and manage office supplies
Open, sort, and distribute mail
File documents accurately and consistently
Answer phones professionally and courteously
Provide accurate information or route calls to the appropriate individual
Serve as a welcoming and helpful point of contact
Provide assistance with special projects as assigned
Assist with errands, including banking or administrative tasks outside the office
Support leadership in day-to-day operations and organizational initiatives

Experience with payroll processing and accounting support
Previous administrative or office management experience
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 platforms (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive)
