Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Demand Plan and forecast for the business unit
Create and manage Master Data in planning systems, minimizing errors and avoiding duplication
Generate and maintain a Demand Plan at product hierarchy levels, considering recent events
Understand and improve Demand Planning key performance metrics and targets
Utilize Demand Planning system functionalities for exception-based management
Implement improvements to Demand Planning processes and tools for tangible benefits
Contribute to cross-functional planning activities, ensuring preparation and follow-up actions for Monthly Business Planning meetings
Make recommendations on the baseline forecast and defend changes to the Consensus Demand Plan
Capture, prioritize, and analyze forecast assumptions, including marketing and sales events
Analyze actual sales data to identify unforecasted activities and minimize deviations from the Demand Plan
Present outcomes of the Monthly Business Planning process to leadership and obtain stakeholder buy-in
Ensure the latest Demand Plan is readily available to internal business partners through systematic reporting
Partner with supply for product discontinuations and reformulations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in a related field
3-5 years of business experience in functions such as Demand/Supply Planning, Supply Chain Development, Procurement, Physical Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, or Finance
Planning experience in Demand or Supply Planning
Proven ability to influence others
Experience with Demand Planning and statistical forecasting techniques, preferably in DTC or e-commerce
Experience implementing processes and systems for organizational improvement
Strong analytical aptitude with the ability to analyze data and build quantitative models
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Organizational and time-management abilities
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with personnel at all levels
Flexibility and adaptability to a fast-paced environment with multiple demands
Creative thinking skills with emphasis on developing innovative solutions to complex problems
