They are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Introduction to Information Technology, focusing on classroom engagement, student assessment, and mentoring in a supportive academic environment.

Education

Responsibilities

Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

Qualification

Masters in ITEnterprise server systemsMS Server AdministrationLinux AdministrationActive Directory managementMCSE certificationMCSA certificationBachelors in ITScriptingInformation securityDatabase systemsDigital networking conceptsProject management

Required

Masters (or higher) in Information Technology or related field
2-5 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organizations
Skills in latest MS Server and Linux Administration
Skills in Server Roles
Skills in Active Directory management
Ability to setup/manage/troubleshoot multi-layered architectures
Bachelors (or higher) in Information Technology or related field
7-10 years' experience designing and/or implementing Enterprise server systems in a mid to large size organization

Preferred

Current certifications in Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server
