New Grad, Entry LevelBridgeview Eye Partners is seeking a Technician to fulfill an important role in providing critical data for patient care and treatment. The Technician will be responsible for various administrative and clinical functions, ensuring quality standards are met while enhancing the patient's experience.

Responsibilities
Prepare patients for eye examinations by communicating the features and benefits of our preliminary testing procedures
Perform all preliminary and any doctor requested tests on all patients
Assist optometrist with patient procedures
Coordinate patient scheduling and monitor patient flow throughout the office, properly communicating delays
Prepare exam room by cleaning instruments and maintaining inventory of medications and supplies
Provide a safe, clean, organized and inviting environment for both patients and staff
Perform other duties and assume various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s)
Qualification
Required
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
Experience in performing preliminary and ancillary testing
Ability to assist optometrists with patient procedures
Experience in coordinating patient scheduling and monitoring patient flow
Ability to prepare exam rooms and maintain inventory of medications and supplies
Ability to provide a safe, clean, organized, and inviting environment for patients and staff
Ability to perform various responsibilities as determined by the office manager or team lead, and doctor(s)
Physical ability to stand for sustained periods of time, stoop, grasp, lift, talk, and hear
Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular basis from floor to waist, 5 lbs. from waist to shoulder, and 5 lbs. from shoulder to overhead
Visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
