Responsibilities

Own and manage NAYA’s HR systems supporting the full employee lifecycle, including hiring, onboarding, job changes, training, performance, and offboarding
Configure and maintain workflows, permissions, security access, and system settings
Ensure system stability, accuracy, and scalability as the organization grows
Ensure HR systems support compliance with federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
Maintain compliant workflows for I-9/E-Verify, recordkeeping, scheduling documentation, and policy acknowledgments
Establish and enforce data governance standards for job codes, locations, departments, reporting structures, and access controls
Own and maintain HRIS workflows, reporting, and documentation that support Fair Workweek compliance, including advance schedule posting, change tracking, premium pay records, and audit-ready reporting, ensuring consistent adherence to local scheduling laws and minimizing legal and financial risk
Support audits, internal reviews, and regulatory reporting
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate HR processes to reduce manual work
Improve the user experience for field and Support Center leaders through intuitive system design
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and consistency
Build and maintain dashboards and reports for workforce planning, retention, training, and performance
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems
Partner with leaders to translate data into actionable insights
Manage integrations between HRIS, ATS, payroll, LMS, and other systems
Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS vendors, managing support, upgrades, and enhancements
Lead system testing, releases, and implementation projects
Partner closely with People & Culture, Operations, Payroll, Recruiting, and IT
Align systems and processes with business needs and growth priorities
Act as a trusted advisor on people, systems and data strategy

Required

5+ years of experience in HRIS, HR Operations, People Systems, or related roles, with hands-on ownership of at least one major HR platform
Experience supporting a multi-location, hourly workforce in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or similar fast-paced environments
Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and how HR systems support hiring, onboarding, payroll, training, performance, and development
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and take pride in building systems that are accurate, compliant, and easy to use
Comfortable working with data, reporting, and dashboards, and can translate information into clear, actionable insights
Service-minded and solutions-focused, approaching challenges with calm, urgency, and accountability
Curious and continuously looking for ways to improve processes, tools, and the team member experience
Can manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a growing, evolving organization
Demonstrate strong judgment and integrity when handling confidential employee and company information
