Responsibilities
Maintain and update network prime and sports programming in sales avail systems such as WideOrbit Media Sales for Nexstar’s 200+ stations
Build accurate audience estimates using historical performance and market-specific viewing trends
Manage and distribute network programming recap reports to keep sales teams informed of schedule changes
Create sales materials including one-sheets, dashboards, audience insights, and other research-driven collateral
Partner closely with the VP, Broadcast Research to ensure sales teams have timely, actionable information
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (2+ years) in Marketing, Communications, English, or Statistics
Significant knowledge of the local television marketplace and media campaigns
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Problem-solving and deductive reasoning skills
Clear and concise communications both through writing & presentation skills
Organizational skills for daily responsibilities & special projects for sales and marketing team
Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred
2+ years of media research experience
Experience in Wide Orbit Media Sales
