Responsibilities
Collaborates with end users to define and understand business requirements and translates and documents them into feasible and testable technical, configuration, and design specifications; Collaborates cross functionally with team members, developers, vendors, and systems owners in the planning, design, development, testing and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
Oversees and leads project management of all system changes including, but not limited to: accurately predicting cost and time required to complete development tasks and anticipating changes to specifications or schedules, as needed while complying with the Management of Change (MOC) process
Maintains validated state of compliance for systems and applications as stipulated by their current documentation
Coordinates user acceptance tests and other required validation documentation for modified and new systems
Ensures effective interoperability of services and technologies and assures solution design alignment within company and regulatory standards, policies and procedures
Administers JDE by maintaining user accounts, security, E1 pages, etc
Monitors/resolves application issues by working with internal resources, vendors and consultants
Provides orientation and training to end users for relevant systems, as needed
Works with all IT personnel to ensure system architecture consistency; assists in development of vision and strategy for the expansion of the application portfolio
Manages, coaches and mentors a small team of Business Analysts
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree and minimum 8 years hands on functional JDE system experience including configuration, integration, and system support experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other highly regulated environment in positions of increasing leadership and technical responsibility REQUIRED
Hands on, working knowledge of ERP manufacturing, finance and supply chain processes REQUIRED
Progressive Project Management IT experience - managing and/or directing large scale, multi-functional projects REQUIRED
Excellent understanding of software development life cycle practices REQUIRED
Ability to influence without direct authority REQUIRED
Preferred
Hands on, working knowledge of Serialization and Quality Management Systems PREFERRED
People management experience PREFERRED
DSI MEP knowledge and experience PREFERRED
