Responsibilities
Objective Market Identification: Research and identify relevant trade sectors (e.g., Chilean Mining, Peru Agrobusiness, or Colombian Tech) that fit Bci Miami's strategy and product offer
Value Proposition Analysis: Map the market needs for LATAM exporters to ensure a "market-fit" strategy for BCI Miami’s products
Competitive Benchmarking: Research the strengths of top players in the market and relevant competitors to identify market opportunities
Data Analysis: Utilize various sources of information (e.g. Veritrade) and regional economic data to create "Market Maps" to help define target industries
Corridor Mapping: Analyze the advantages of the "Miami Hub" advantage, identifying how its product spectrum creates value for specific import/export companies in LATAM
Executive Presentations: Design and deliver weekly briefings and presentations to senior leadership, detailing trade patterns into clear recommendations
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in International Business, Economics, Finance, or Data Analytics
Demonstrated interest in or foundational knowledge of the Latin American economic landscape and financial markets
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to clearly present information to diverse stakeholders within Bci
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Proactive, adaptable mindset with an eagerness to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment where market conditions can change rapidly
Preferred
Fluent in Spanish (preferred) to effectively engage with regional markets and internal teams
