ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR I (SUPERVISOR)

The California Department of Social Services is seeking a motivated accounting professional to join their team as an Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor). This role involves overseeing a team and ensuring compliance with cost allocation processes and labor distribution within the Financial Information System for California (FI$Cal) Operations Unit.

Overseeing two Associate Administrative Analyst, Accounting Systems; three Associate Accounting Analysts; two Accountant Trainees/Accounting Officer, Specialists; and one Student Assistant in performing complex tasks and assignments related to labor distribution, cost allocation processes, and database programs for automated entry of accounting data
Assists the Accounting Administrator II in the development, implementation, and maintenance of FI$Cal to support daily operational needs and ongoing improvements of queries, data extracts of accounting data, and assisting the Accounting and Fiscal Systems Branch with FI$Cal Month End and Year End processes

Arial font; have 1” margins; be limited to no more than two (2) single-sided pages; be in narrative form (no bullet points); and detail your interest in the Department of Social Services and how your education and experience qualifies you for the position
