Start in 2026 SummerOrthopaedic Associates of Wisconsin is offering a Summer Internship Program where participants will shadow physicians and physician assistants. The program provides hands-on experience in various specialties, allowing students to observe patient care and engage in clinical research projects under the guidance of physician mentors.

Shadow physicians and physician assistants
Be paired with physicians in specialties representing the students’ interests
Keep the hours of the clinicians to understand the practice of medicine
Attend a lunchtime seminar series
Make brief presentations to peers on selected topics
Perform clinical research projects with physician mentor guidance
Interact with OAW physicians and observe them during patient care
Experience daily activities of physicians during patient-physician interactions
Qualification
Required
Applicant must be at least a current college student or beyond
