Responsibilities
Analyze current business processes and define future-state requirements
Break complex problems into clear, actionable work items
Translate business needs into functional requirements and user stories
Support Agile teams by clarifying scope, priorities, and acceptance criteria
Partner with design teams to ensure functionality aligns with user experience
Collaborate with QA on test strategy, test cases, and validation activities
Act as a subject matter resource for assigned applications or platforms
Support change management by tracking and communicating requirement updates
Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts related to the requirements
Ensure solutions align with business goals, data standards, and system needs
Develop training materials and support knowledge transfer to end users
Document processes, procedures, and operational guidelines
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in a business analyst or similar role
Experience working in Agile environments using user stories and use cases
Strong abilities in gathering, documenting, and communicating business requirements
Experience supporting functional and regression testing efforts
Proficiency with Microsoft tools including Excel and Visio
Experience using collaboration and project tools including Teams and SharePoint
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to provide limited off-hours support or travel as needed
Preferred
Bachelor's degree
Experience in Insurance, Brokerage, or Financial Services environments
