Responsibilities
Provide customer service to client personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an industrial location
Operate the dispatch function by monitoring phones, radios, and security-related systems, and coordinating officer response to calls for service, alarms, and requests for assistance
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, gathering key details, notifying appropriate contacts, and documenting actions taken
Monitor access activity and security-related camera and alarm systems when assigned, reporting irregular conditions and/or maintenance issues through the proper channels
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and the perimeter as directed, and complete security-related reports and logs per post orders
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
