Responsibilities

Coordinate with multidiscipline team to prepare proposals and execute projects
Safely coordinate and execute field exploration programs, construction observation, and associated documentation
Complete engineering analysis including: soil and rock classification; shallow and deep foundation capacity, immediate and consolidation settlement; slope stability analysis, seismic hazard evaluation (including liquefaction and lateral spreading), and earth retention systems
Partner with internal and external multidisciplinary teams during project development
Prepare Geotechnical Engineering reports
Prepare construction specifications and drawings
Be actively involved during the construction phase of projects
Positively interact with client representatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering
Professional Engineer license in California
6 - 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience
Positive work attitude and ability to work safely and efficiently when managing multiple tasks
Ability to work independently and with a team in a multi-disciplinary environment
Strong written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of standard business software including MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
Clean driving record and the ability to pass a drug test

Preferred

Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering
California G.E. designation
8 - 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience
Experience with geotechnical software packages including L-Pile, Uni-pile, SHAFT, gINT, GRL WEAP, GEO STUDIO, MSEW, CPeT-IT, and CLiq
