Engagement Manager, Oncology & Specialty Therapeutics

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of multi-method oncology consulting engagements, including qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for biopharma clients, translating scientific and commercial questions into structured research approaches and actionable recommendations
Deliver clear, compelling storytelling, often through executive-ready PowerPoint presentations, synthesizing complex data into strategic narratives for senior audiences
Present findings and recommendations to senior client stakeholders across commercial, medical, strategy, and business development functions
Provide product and content leadership for the CancerMPact® oncology data and insights offer
Support the evolution of methodologies, insights, and positioning to ensure continued scientific rigor and commercial relevance
Help clients maximize the value of syndicated data for pipeline planning, launch strategy, competitive intelligence, and lifecycle management, through demonstrations and pitches
Proactively identify opportunities to expand client relationships through custom consulting engagements, extensions of syndicated offerings, and new solution concepts
Contribute to proposal development, study design, scoping of new work, project team organizer and overall project execution and client satisfaction
Bring creativity, commercial acumen, and drive to help grow the custom consulting business within OST
Collaborate closely with internal teams across Market Research, Real-World Evidence (RWE), and other Oracle Life Sciences and Oracle Health domains on oncology relevant opportunities
Help integrate primary research, syndicated data, and real-world data assets into cohesive, high-value client solutions
Lead and mentor junior team members, providing guidance on research execution, analysis, storytelling, and client engagement
Own project outcomes, including timelines, budgets, quality, and client satisfaction
Demonstrate strong accountability and a hands-on approach to delivery
Qualification
Required
7+ years of consulting or commercial experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry with demonstrated success in oncology
PhD in Life Sciences or MD with oncology experience
Strong understanding of oncology biology, drug development, and commercialization strategies
Proven client-facing leadership experience and strong primary market research capabilities
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, particularly in PowerPoint
Highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and comfortable operating independently
Willingness to travel up to 10%
Preferred
Experience with syndicated data products, RWE/EHR/claims data, or analytics and visualization tools

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
