Responsibilities
Project Manage end to end RFx response lifecycle so that the deliverables are high quality and on time
Guide virtual & global cross functional teams through the proposal process from early planning to kick off as well as content development, reviews, editing/design, and publishing
Coordinate inputs from a variety of stakeholders, typically involving contributions from sales, solutioning, product teams, partners, finance, commercial, legal and delivery
Perform kickoff for each RFx, to onboard all stakeholders & contributors – response strategy, assignments, timelines
Document owners, action items, escalation points so that the response is complete in a timely manner
Create response templates & content as required. Populate initial technical content for SMEs to customize (leverage content platform)
Ensure content matches RFx requirements / questions
Conduct and document governance for each RFx – engage stakeholders per published matrix & guidelines, and follow through open items
Follow the Shipley-based review process for content review & approval
Ensure final product meets proposal requirements, quality specifications, internal approvals and final submission deadline
Refresh / augment content repository based on each RFx response
Identify improvement initiatives for proposal management function
Qualification
Required
At least 10 years of experience in leading infrastructure services RFx responses for large global technology systems integrators
Ability to think & work at both strategic and tactical levels
Self-motivated, proactive, dependable, trustworthy, and well organized with the ability to multi-task under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work and lead in a team environment
Eye for detail in ensuring that the response submitted addresses all stated and implied expectations of the client
Very proficient in MS tools – Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Excellent communication skills, and ability to communicate with C-level
Positive attitude, with a passion to win
Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution
Good creative and problem-solving capabilities
Experience should span Hardware, Software, and Services – Professional Services and Managed Services ranging from small quick turnaround proposals to those that can span a few hundred million dollars
Experience working with globally distributed teams
