They are seeking a Credit and Receivable Specialist II to facilitate the timely processing of applications, maintain customer data in ERP systems, and ensure an efficient order-to-cash process. Environmental Services
Responsibilities
Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times
Creates, updates and reviews customer setups, line of credit limitations, payment terms, credit status and contact information within ERP systems
Obtains credit reports and performs initial credit assessments
Performs credit and bank reference checks
Ensures accuracy of customer master data in ERP
Oversees customer credit card activity, including reconciliations
Maintains and updates standard operating procedure documents, training records and tax documentation as appropriate/required
Performs cash application and close processes for receivables
Completes requested payment research to include overpayments, misapplied payments, unidentified payments, short payments and GL check inquiries
Assists with close activities including AR related reconciliations and audit requests
Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
4+ years of experience in an office environment
Preferred
Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting
Previous experience within a credit/receivables position
Previous experience utilizing multiple ERPs
