They are seeking a volunteer Bookkeeper/Accountant to maintain financial integrity, categorize transactions, reconcile statements, and assist with budget preparations.

Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records for the Rescue
Categorize all financial transactions: donations, expenses, and program revenue
Reconcile bank statements
Assist with budget preparation
Work closely with a team of other Bookkeepers to share the load
Qualification
Required
Experience in Bookkeeping or Accounting
Proficiency in Quickbooks Online
Self Motivated - hours are flexible, but we dont have time to be reminding you to finish tasks. We need a self motivated person who can follow through with assigned tasks
Willing to work in a team - we know that this role is typically a lone wolf role, but we have found that having a small team of volunteers in this role helps relieve the pressure from each person individually
