Responsibilities
Follow aseptic gowning procedures and wear required PPE in classified cleanroom environments
Independently conducts routine testing and monitoring activities; supports compendial compliance
Execute microbial testing and environmental monitoring of product samples, utilities, surfaces, air, and personnel according to SOPs and compendial standards
Prepare and maintain media, sampling kits, and test solutions per SOPs and compendial requirements; support sterilization practices as applicable
Operate biological safety cabinets and laboratory instrumentation while following aseptic techniques
Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of laboratory spaces and support equipment maintenance and calibration
Document results accurately in validated systems (ACE, LIMS) and maintain data integrity
Participate in periodic lab and equipment cleaning and monthly tasks
Support cross-functional collaboration with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Facilities
Contribute to inventory management and reagent tracking
Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned from time to time
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in related scientific discipline, Microbiology preferred
1-3 years of experience in QC Microbiology function within the pharmaceutical industry
Understanding of aseptic technique, processes, and compliance
Understanding of industry regulations and compliance
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Must be authorized to work in the U.S
No C2C at this time
Preferred
Prior experience in aseptic manufacturing environment is preferred
Experience with disinfectant efficacy studies and facility validation is highly preferred
Experiene working in bio safety cabinets
