Responsibilities

Contributes to the planning, implementation, and maintenance of building infrastructure and systems
Assists in analyzing operational processes, energy use, and safety compliance, and supports facility expansion and layout design
Collaborates with engineering teams to improve efficiency and ensure regulatory adherence
Learns and applies knowledge, builds skills, and explores future career opportunities through hands-on experience and projects that support Intel business goals in a collaborative environment

Required

Has not participated in an Intel internship previously through the MECOP program (only applicable to Senior students)
3.0 GPA
Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Instrumentation and Controls, Microelectronics, Renewable Energy Technology, Environmental Technology, Water/Purification Engineering or related technical or STEM field
Internships are on-site

Preferred

Prior internships are a plus
Proficiency in Maximo and CDOCs, ILM QEF portalWorking knowledge of Pumps, Compressors, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Boilers, Dryers, Fans, Motors, Filters, Boiler, Strainers, Heat Exchangers and Coils
Experience in facilities operations or maintenance, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, heating, and cooling systems
