Responsibilities
Engaging with community members who can benefit from the products and services offered, with a focus on commercial lending activities
Managing their loan portfolio for the life of the loan
Overseeing draws, overdrafts, and past-due accounts
Working closely with lending support staff throughout the lending cycle to ensure customers receive outstanding service
Identifying and cross-selling additional bank products and services that benefit the customer
Maintaining licensing through applicable state and national authorities
Qualification
Required
Five plus years of prior experience in commercial lending required
Excellent customer service and strong communication skills
Strong mathematical, problem-solving and computer skills
Basic knowledge of banking operations, documentation, policy and procedures
Effective multi-tasking and organizational skills
Knowledge and understanding of loan funding options, sourcing and methodology, including USA, SBA, FSA, Farmer Mac, and SWAP
Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local regulatory banking and finance compliance requirements
Willingness to proactively cross-sell bank products & services
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in finance or business administration preferred
Experience in managing a portfolio of $40 million or more preferred
Current established portfolio of lending pipeline preferred
