Sales Account Executive

Nexstar Media Group, Inc. is seeking a Sales Account Executive to manage and grow an established client book while developing new business opportunities. This role focuses on driving station revenue through business development, client relationship management, and the sale of multi-platform advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

Grow revenue and strengthen relationships within your assigned book, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities across television and digital campaigns
Proactively pursue new clients in the local market
Sell multi-platform advertising solutions, including digital display, streaming, social media, video, and integrated campaigns. Educate clients on the value of combining digital and traditional TV to maximize ROI
Build and maintain trusted partnerships with local businesses and agencies, positioning yourself as a strategic marketing advisor
Prepare and deliver customized, compelling presentations that demonstrate the value of FOX21-KXRM and SOCO CW-KXTU solutions
Leverage experience with dealership advertising and automotive market knowledge to grow automotive client business
Partner with internal teams and clients to develop campaigns that are both creative and results-driven
Monitor campaign performance, optimize strategies, and ensure client satisfaction and retention
Support station initiatives and projects as needed to drive overall team success

Required

Minimum of one year of Broadcast or Digital media sales experience, ideally with both Local Direct and agency accounts
Proven success in business development and managing existing client relationships
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Demonstrated ability to sell digital advertising and integrate multi-platform campaigns
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

Preferred

Experience in automotive media and understanding dealership advertising cycles is highly preferred
Knowledge of Comscore, Nielsen, Wide Orbit Traffic, and Wide Orbit Media Sales a plus
