They are seeking a Development Events Coordinator responsible for supporting and executing projects and events related to development stewardship, communications, and various events throughout the year.

Responsibilities
Supporting and executing projects and events related to the areas of development stewardship, communications, and events
Coordinating event logistical support for up to 90 special events (in person, virtual, and/or hybrid) throughout the year
Arranging, negotiating for, and booking event transportation
Helping donors make room reservations
Answering event questions sent to development events email
Creating nametags/place cards/menu cards/etc
Attending site inspections, set up and break down of events
Creating event records in the database and updating donor event information within the appropriate record
Preparing all invoices and payment cover sheets for billing
Requesting invite lists through data services or by running exports as needed in CRM
Assisting development communications, donor stewardship, and campaign logistics on projects as needed
Answering all emails sent to the development events email
Qualification
Required
High school diploma is required
Excellent oral and written communication skills
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others and numerous external agencies
Proficient in computer applications
Ability to organize multiple, detail-oriented priorities
Available for occasional travel and work after normal business hours
Experience in nonprofit organization and/or higher education is a plus
Must live within commuting distance of West Point
Preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred
