Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of major capital projects, ensuring cost-effective and timely delivery
Develop business cases, project charters, and approval packages for executive review
Lead conceptual and front-end design phases, establishing clear success criteria for scope, schedule, budget, and performance
Collaborate closely with PSM, Commercial, R&D, Operations, Finance, Procurement, Quality, and Safety teams
Oversee vendor selection, contract negotiations, and contractor performance
Ensure full compliance with FDA, USDA, DEQ, and other applicable regulatory and environmental requirements
Prepare and present project updates, financials, and risk assessments to executive leadership
Manage site CAPEX and engineering activities, including mentoring project engineers and interns
Drive best practices in project execution, safety, and continuous improvement
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (advanced degree a plus)
Proven experience managing capital projects in food manufacturing or regulated manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of process design, construction management, and commissioning
Experience working within FDA/USDA-regulated facilities
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence at the executive level
Excellent communication, financial acumen, and organizational skills
