Responsibilities
Troubleshooting support and recovery of faults on 20+ pieces of custom robotics around the factory
Implement improvements to production automation systems, primarily programming Robotics, PLCs, and Vision Systems
Document issues and resolutions in Azure DevOps to properly convey impact to leadership and stakeholders
Update documentation for changes made to deployed systems
Liaise with manufacturing engineering and operators to understand and resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Typically requires BS in an Engineering field or the sciences (STEM) AND minimum of 5+ years of experience in manufacturing operations/engineering, software engineering, systems engineering, controls engineering, and/or automation engineering; or 3+ years with an advanced STEM degree in Engineering
Experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
Rockwell PLC and HMI experience
Fanuc Robotics experience
Machine vision experience
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Preferred
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Ability to create electrical schematics
Keyence, Cognex, or iRVision experience
Advanced PLC programming knowledge, including structured text
