STG Camp Administrator

Seattle Theatre Group is responsible for various arts programs, including youth camps. The Camp Administrator will oversee administrative operations, assist in coordinating camp activities, and serve as a liaison between the camp and community partners.

Responsibilities

Must be available for the following dates: + April 12-17, 2026, 8-5pm + June 28-July 2, 2026, 8-5pm + July 26-31, 2026, 8-5pm + August 2-8. 2026, 8-5pm
Prep and Administrative in-office work 1-3 days leading up to program
Assist Camp Manager in Coordinating breakfast and lunch for Campers, as needed
Assist Camp Manager in Coordinating any field trips
Coordinate ordering and distribution of camp supplies and materials
Supervise interns and volunteers
Pay camp-related bills on a timely basis or send to STG Finance Department
Track all expenses on a line-item basis
Assist Camp Manager in camper recruitment and acceptance process
Oversee evaluations and assessment surveys
Serve as the liaison between the camp, parents, and major community partners
Assist Camp Manger in notifying Seattle Theatre Group Staff, camp staff and community partners of all special activities (Funders’ Day, open house, Talent Day, etc.) in writing
Send publicity relating to STG Camps to the parties noted above
Notify all Camp staff in writing regarding outside activities: receptions, parties, etc
Assist the Camp Manager in distribution of the weekly and daily schedules
Assist the Camp Manager with the final performance, (including programs and invitations)
Report individual campers counseling needs to the Guidance Counselor and Camp Manager
Participate in all rehearsal, preparation and day-of final performance activities to support artistic staff
Participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings and individual meetings as needed
Dress in the Camp staff uniform and in a neat and clean manner insuring clothing and/or costumes do not contain inappropriate references for children (alcohol, drugs, profanity, etc.)

Required

Experience in the arts and arts education
Experience working with youth camps or related work
21 years and over
Dedication to racial equity and social justice work in the arts
Works well under pressure
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experienced in Microsoft Word and Excel
Receptive to ongoing feedback and provide meaningful feedback to Assoc. Dir of Community Programs with the goal of improving our programs
First Aid/CPR Trained (if not certified – STG will arrange training)
Must pass background check
Adhere to STG Working with Minor Policies
