Director of Accounting
Advanced Medical Transport (AMT) is the premier provider of emergency and scheduled ambulance services in Central and Western Illinois, as well as parts of Iowa. The Director of Accounting role at AMT is responsible for providing leadership of the company’s financial planning, preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements for the AMT family of companies, and overseeing the accounting control procedures.

Responsibilities
Completes financial statements and reports in a timely manner
Compares period performance with operating plans and budget forecasts
Manages finance team as needed to meet organizational needs
Prepares year end work papers as well as those required for other audits, including but not limited to 403B and worker's compensation
Responsible for timely financial filings as required by state and federal regulations
Oversees company's fixe assets
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 5-7 years experience ideally gained through increasingly responsible management positions within Finance
CPA required
Working knowledge of Sage accounting systems
Well-developed financial analysis capabilities and demonstrated ability to manage microcomputer operations and applications
Sound administrative skills. Well-developed management skills, principles and people
