Responsibilities
Lead the strategic development and execution of Search Engine Optimization at Two Trees, working alongside our PPC team to deliver integrated, conversion-focused digital marketing strategies
Stay up to date on the latest SEO, GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) learnings, updates, trends and best practices
Make recommendations and develop strategic plans for clients
Utilize industry leading tools to inform and support recommendations and efforts
Identify and pursue SEO opportunities with existing PPC clients, contributing to agency growth through strategic upselling
Collaborate with our link building vendor and oversee outsourced link acquisition efforts
Search Engine Optimization strategy and implementation for Two Trees’ clients, as well as internal agency strategy
Development of SEO strategies that integrate with existing PPC campaigns to maximize overall marketing performance
Technical SEO audits and remediation roadmaps, including site architecture, crawl optimization, Core Web Vitals, mobile optimization, and schema markup
Authority building initiatives including link acquisition strategy, digital PR opportunities, and competitive backlink analysis
On-page optimization including metadata, internal linking, and user experience improvements
Local SEO management where applicable (Google Business Profile, local citations, multi-location strategies)
SEO and GEO audits for prospective clients that identify opportunities and demonstrate Two Trees' strategic approach
Presentation of SEO opportunities and strategies to existing PPC clients, contributing to account growth
Development of compelling SEO proposals that articulate business value and expected ROI
Monthly client SEO reporting with strategic recommendations and clear demonstration of conversion impact
SEO project management with defined timelines and deliverables
Oversight of outsourced link building vendor relationship and quality control
Competitive intelligence gathering and benchmarking against industry standards
SEO tool stack management and optimization
Internal SEO documentation, process development, and knowledge sharing with the team
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven results across multiple client accounts
Strong technical SEO knowledge: website architecture, Core Web Vitals, mobile optimization, schema markup, site migrations, crawl budget optimization, and log file analysis
Link building and digital PR experience, including vendor management
Experience using GA4, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs (or similar tools)
Ability to write strong and accurate keyword-rich content
Ability to self-start, with strong communication and collaboration ability
Understanding of local SEO strategies and Google Business Profile optimization
Experience presenting SEO strategies and results to clients with clarity and confidence
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
