Assistant Attorney General (Medicaid Fraud Unit)
The Oregon Department of Justice is seeking an attorney to serve in the Medicaid Fraud Unit as a Medicaid Fraud Prosecutor. The role involves handling state criminal investigations and prosecutions related to Medicaid fraud, leading a team of investigators, and collaborating with various law enforcement agencies.

Responsibilities
Handle state criminal investigations and prosecutions related to Medicaid fraud
Lead a staff of investigators, auditors, a nurse investigator, and data analysts
Collaborate with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies on virtually every case
Work with assistant attorneys general from other state MFCUs to investigate and resolve Medicaid fraud issues
Qualification
Required
Active membership and in good standing with the Oregon State Bar at time of appointment
At least seven (7) years of criminal litigation experience
Willingness and availability to travel
Preferred
Commitment to public service
Strong oral and written advocacy skills
Extensive experience prosecuting criminal cases
History of working successfully in multi-disciplinary teams
Benefits
