Responsibilities
Lead complex projects with budgets up to $500K, managing high-priority tasks and cross-functional teams for significant organizational impact
Exercise authority in planning, execution, and resource management, collaborating with leadership to translate strategic initiatives into detailed project plans focused on achieving strategic outcomes
Translate business processes into technical solutions, leading analysts in requirement gathering and traceability
Engage with senior leadership and external partners to align objectives with organizational goals
Direct project teams, fostering excellence and continuous improvement
Implement quality assurance best practices and strategies for process optimization while expertly identifying, analyzing, and managing risks to ensure project success
Lead vendor selection and implementation for medium to large projects
Mentor project teams, promoting professional growth and a culture of excellence
Qualification
Required
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field required
Seven (7) years of relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibility of which at least four (4) years must be in project management OR comparable roles
Extensive experience in project management with a proven track record of success
Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on strategic thinking and innovation
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Advanced proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, including scheduling solutions
Ability to navigate complex organizational dynamics and drive change
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing circumstances in a fast-paced environment
Strong competence with IT concepts including application development and support, networking, system integration, and information security
Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Proven experienced in formal project management methodologies, including waterfall, spiral, agile, lean, DMAIC, etc
Skilled in written and verbal communications with staff and management who have varying levels of technical aptitude, bridging the gap between business constituents and technical IT resources, and influencing decisions
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred
