Body Shop Parts Specialist
Hunter Automotive Group is a family-owned business that has been serving western North Carolina for over 85 years. They are seeking a Body Shop Parts Specialist to manage inventory, source parts, and ensure technicians have the necessary materials for exceptional repairs.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with the body shop technicians to ensure timely availability of parts
Review repair orders to determine necessary parts and materials for repairs
Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels to prevent shortages or excess
Source and purchase parts from suppliers as needed, ensuring cost-effectiveness
Manage returns and exchanges of parts as required
Track and manage parts receipts and deliveries
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any issues regarding parts orders or availability
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized parts room
Process warranty claims and handle parts warranty issues
Assist body shop technicians with parts identification and installation
Qualification
Required
Entry-level experience
Detail-oriented and organized
Passionate about keeping the repair process moving smoothly
Instrumental in managing inventory
Sourcing high-quality parts
Ensuring technicians have necessary parts for repairs
Collaborate with body shop technicians to ensure timely availability of parts
Review repair orders to determine necessary parts and materials for repairs
Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels
Source and purchase parts from suppliers
Manage returns and exchanges of parts
Track and manage parts receipts and deliveries
Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve issues regarding parts orders

Strong knowledge of automotive terminology, body components, and repair processes

Proficiency with inventory systems

Preferred
Previous experience in automotive parts or a collision center environment
Experience with DealerTrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, or similar DMS
