Responsibilities
Billing Configuration: Hands-on configuration of Billing Rules, Tax Rules, and Revenue Recognition Rules
Invoice Automation: Set up and manage Invoice Schedulers, Credit Notes, and Debit Notes to ensure accurate financial data
Development: Write and maintain clean, scalable Apex code, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Data Integration: Assist in integrating Salesforce Billing with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP) for seamless 'Order-to-Cash' workflows
Lifecycle Management: Support the transition from Quote-to-Order and Order-to-Invoice, ensuring data integrity across the entire Revenue Cloud suite
Troubleshooting: Resolve complex billing errors related to tax calculation, proration, and amendment cycles
Qualification
Required
Experience Level: 2–5 Years (with 1–2 full lifecycle Salesforce Billing projects)
Strong grasp of the Salesforce Billing object model
Hands-on configuration of Billing Rules, Tax Rules, and Revenue Recognition Rules
Set up and manage Invoice Schedulers, Credit Notes, and Debit Notes to ensure accurate financial data
Write and maintain clean, scalable Apex code, Triggers, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Assist in integrating Salesforce Billing with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, SAP) for seamless 'Order-to-Cash' workflows
Support the transition from Quote-to-Order and Order-to-Invoice, ensuring data integrity across the entire Revenue Cloud suite
Resolve complex billing errors related to tax calculation, proration, and amendment cycles
Strong proficiency in Apex, SOQL, and LWC
Deep understanding of Billing Finance Books, Finance Periods, and Legal Entities
Expert knowledge of Flows and Salesforce CPQ Price Rules/Product Rules
Ability to communicate effectively with Finance and Accounting stakeholders
Ability to document technical designs and business process flows
Preferred
Minimum of 1–2 completed projects focusing specifically on Salesforce Billing (beyond just CPQ)
Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
Salesforce Certified Billing Specialist (Superbadge or Certification)
Salesforce Platform Developer I
