Responsibilities
Conducting cycle counts completely and accurately per schedules provided. Straightening merchandise so that it can be easily picked
Updating and printing the initial cycle count report to verify accuracy
Audit and correct bin discrepancies resulting from picking orders, putaway errors, lost merchandise, and/or pilferage
Investigate missing items and report losses and trends to management
Fill out discrepancy sheets for issues found that can be fully traced
Turning in both the Cycle Count Report and Discrepancy Sheets to the Cycle Count Lead
Qualification
Required
High school diploma
Understanding of general work practices in warehousing and distribution, including order picking, packing, and shipping processes and procedures
Dedicated to business and willing to adjust schedule and hours as needed to manage department
Performing tasks in a standing position for extended periods of time
Repetitive movements
Able to stand, reach, bend, push and pull bulky material for the entire shift and capable of lifting 50-70 lbs. frequently
Unafraid of Heights- potential height of 27.5 ft on equipment
Consistent regular scheduled attendance is considered an essential function of this job
Preferred
College degree
Minimum of two years of inventory control and/or cycle counting experience or equivalent combination of education and warehouse operations experience
Valid Driver's license
Knowledge of Inventory Management
Knowledge of basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook, and RF Scanning
