Responsibilities

Accurately input, update, and maintain data within company databases and internal systems
Review records for errors, inconsistencies, or incomplete information and make corrections as needed
Validate source documents to ensure information is properly recorded
Safeguard sensitive company and client information in accordance with privacy and security standards
Organize, manage, and maintain digital files and documentation
Prepare routine reports and summaries upon request
Communicate with supervisors or team members regarding data discrepancies or updates
Consistently meet established productivity, quality, and turnaround benchmarks
Adhere to company procedures, workflows, and data entry guidelines

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
At least one year of professional experience in data entry, administrative, or clerical roles (remote experience is a plus)
Typing speed of 50 words per minute or higher with at least 95% accuracy; a skills assessment will be required during the hiring process
Strong computer proficiency, including experience with spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (basic formulas, sorting, filtering, and data validation)
Hands-on experience with data management systems or CRM platforms for routine updates and record maintenance
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet accuracy and productivity goals
Reliable high-speed internet, a dedicated remote workspace, and availability during agreed-upon core working hours
Ability to successfully complete background screening and identity or eligibility verification as required

Preferred

Two or more years of professional data entry or administrative experience
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Office Specialist (Excel), data entry certifications, or typing certifications
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic data import/export processes
Training or coursework related to data privacy, security, or compliance
Associate degree or certificate in business administration, information management, or a related field
Strong written communication skills and prior experience working with distributed or remote teams
