Bilingual - Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable

They are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Associate to support daily AP/AR operations, including invoice processing, payment tracking, reconciliations, and payroll support.

Responsibilities

Prepare, issue, and manage customer billing, including invoices, statements, and pricing adjustments
Record customer payments accurately and in a timely manner (checks, ACH, wires, etc.)
Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances and collections
Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and price adjustments
Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer accounts in the accounting system
Assist with reconciling the accounts receivable sub-ledger to the general ledger
Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Assist with vendor payments, including checks and electronic payments
Maintain organized and complete accounts payable records and supporting documentation
Respond to basic vendor inquiries and assist in resolving discrepancies
Assist with month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and journal entry support
Help identify discrepancies, investigate variances, and escalate issues when needed
Support internal audits, documentation requests, and internal controls
Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding billing, payments, and pricing-related matters
Collaborate with tax, operations teams as needed
Perform other accounting or administrative tasks as assigned

Required

1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related accounting role
Basic understanding of accounting principles (debits & credits, general ledger concepts)
Experience using accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic formulas, spreadsheets)
Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written)
Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work independently

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Payroll support experience
Experience in a small or mid-sized company environment
