Responsibilities
Interpret and process customer order information for drawing creation
Prepare accurate drawings, sketches, and related documents for internal use and production
Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other departments to clarify specifications
Monitor and manage order backlog, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
Assist in revising standard designs and drafting procedures for efficiency
Comply with safety, attendance, and company policies
Qualification
Required
High school diploma with 1+ year of relevant experience or education
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2019 or newer) and 3D modeling
Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
Strong math and problem-solving skills (including Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry)
Ability to read technical drawings and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
Associate's Degree in Drafting
Experience with Autodesk Inventor
Familiarity with Valmont products and manufacturing processes
