Military Systems Specialist IV

They are seeking a Military Systems Specialist IV to provide tactical acoustic support, troubleshoot technical issues, and support system deployments for P-3 related systems.
Responsibilities
Providing Tactical Acoustic Support System (TASS) support as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), applying deep operational knowledge from P ‑ 3C mission systems and ground support environments
Supporting TASS system builds, integration, and developmental testing, leveraging extensive experience with P ‑ 3 tactical ground support systems
Interfacing with MPRA customers, including international FMS partners, to troubleshoot technical issues, support system deployments, and provide expert operational insight
Participating in engineering reviews and program meetings, offering recommendations informed by P ‑ 3 operational experience and global support engagements
Identifying risks to cost, schedule, and performance, drawing on experience coordinating P ‑ 3 system deliveries and international installation timelines
Supporting subsystem ‑ level development, testing, and troubleshooting for new products prior to System Integration Testing (SIT), with emphasis on P ‑ 3 ‑ related capabilities and legacy system interoperability
Supporting subsystem documentation updates to include Operations and Maintenance Manuals, drawing packages, System Operational and Verification Tests (SOVTs), Field Change Bulletins (FCBs), Engineering Change Requests (ECRs), Defects, Pre-Installation Test and Check Out (PITCO) and other documents as required
Supporting technical hardware/software assessments and evaluation support for subsystem upgrades, technical refreshes, and change requests due to end of life/obsolescence
Supporting in ‑ service engineering activities, system repairs, and troubleshooting for P ‑ 3 ‑ related subsystems and international customer configuration
Supporting and delivering Subsystem Installation/Testing/Training efforts
Supporting subsystem Impact Analysis, Cost Estimates, Defects, Engineering Change Request, Test reports, Technical Reports, Analysis of Alternatives and Recommended COAs
Supporting technical efforts to ensure In Service Engineering Activities (ISEA) for the current subsystems
Qualification
Required
At least five years of experience as an Aviation Warfare System Operator (Acoustic) with extensive hands ‑ on expertise in P-3 Foreign Military Support, including post ‑ mission analysis, tactical ground support systems, and acoustic/tactical software application
Proven subject matter expert in P ‑ 3 tactical systems, including TASS, MARS, AMS, ISR, ULS, and related MPRA analysis tool
Demonstrated success supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, including international site installations, system integration, and analyst training for partner nations
Must have good communication skills (oral and written) and be able to follow written procedures and provide timely feedback to the team lead in order to meet program schedules
Extensive background in software testing, evaluation, and verification for aviation ground systems, including SOVTs, acceptance testing, GUI assessments, and requirements validation
Skilled in conducting MPRA mission reconstructions, system performance evaluations, and supporting software development test cycles
Strong communication and training skills, with experience delivering Fleet Introduction Training (FIT) and international training engagements
Must possess a DoD Secret clearance
Approximately 10%-20% travel
Preferred
Proven ability to support analyst roles for post mission processing of aircraft sensor data to include; Acoustic, and Multi-Static Active
Ability and knowledge to conduct MPRA Mission reconstructions to support system performance evaluations and software development evaluation efforts
Detail ‑ oriented and highly organized, with a track record of managing schedules, coordinating installations, and supporting high ‑ tempo operational environments
