Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, payroll, accounts receivable, billing, bank reconciliations, and the general ledger
Oversee month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness
Integrate operational and accounting data from ServiceTitan to QuickBooks; reconcile job cost and margin reports
Develop internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures for efficiency and compliance
Provide leadership, mentoring, and task oversight for a team of four accounting staff
Produce clear, actionable monthly financial statements and dashboards
Monitor KPIs for cash flow, job profitability, and operational performance
Collaborate with management to prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses
Coordinate with tax preparers, auditors, and banks as needed
Continuously identify opportunities to streamline systems, reduce errors, and improve reporting clarity
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and ServiceTitan (or similar service-industry platforms)
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills
Preferred
CPA or CMA preferred
Power BI or dashboard experience is a plus
Prior experience in a service or construction-related business preferred
