Responsibilities
Provide expert electrical and PLC programming support for troubleshooting, repairs, and new equipment installations
Connect to, read, and edit PLC logic—Allen Bradley (RSLogix 500 & Studio 5000)
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including management, maintenance, and OEM technical service, to ensure seamless equipment operation
Diagnose and resolve issues with 480V electrical systems, VFDs, HMIs, and analog sensors
Utilize FactoryTalk View Studio for HMI programming and troubleshooting
Interpret work orders, blueprints, diagrams, and equipment manuals to execute tasks efficiently
Uphold strict safety standards, including Lock-out Tag-out and GMPs
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma required; technical certifications or an electrical degree are advantageous
10+ years of hands-on electrical experience with industrial equipment
Background in food manufacturing or similar regulated environments
Familiarity with packaging, palletizing, and fluid process equipment
At least 3 years of direct experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Proficiency with Allen Bradley PLCs (RSLogix 500 & Studio 5000); familiarity with Schneider PLCs is a plus
Strong background in 480V electrical systems, VFDs, HMIs, and analog sensor technology
Experience with FactoryTalk View Studio
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills
