Responsibilities
Lead the strategic growth initiatives for the UX Design company in the Federal Civilian sector
Oversee the department and grow the Federal Civilian business sector
Shape the overall business strategy and foster innovation
Ensure a consistent pipeline of revenue-generating projects
Acquire Federal Civilian contracts
Collaborate on RFP responses and other contractual agreements
Attend and network at professional events and meetings
Stay abreast of FedCiv industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies to identify potential opportunities and risks
Qualification
Required
Strong background in business development within the Federal Civilian business sector, including agencies, departments, and key FedCiv agencies
Successful track record in business development and ability to acquire Federal Civilian contracts
Extensive experience working within or for Federal Civilian agencies
Deep understanding of the federal procurement process and contracting vehicles
Exceptional networking skills
High level of business, financial, and technical acumen
Knowledge of modern software development processes
Understanding of user experience principles
Desire to collaborate on RFP responses and other contractual agreements
Willingness to attend and network at professional events and meetings
Ability to stay abreast of FedCiv industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies
9+ years of business development experience
US Citizenship required
Ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance
Preferred
6+ years of business development experience related to key Federal Civilian agencies (e.g., HHS, VA, DHS, GSA)
