Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of annual budgets, cash flows and valuation projections for the corporate business plan
Assist in the preparation of the Company’s monthly and quarterly business reviews, comparing results to revenue, margin and expense budgets and business plans
Assist with weekly bank reporting requirements
Serve as a Finance resource across business functions in identifying risks, efficiencies, savings and/or improvement opportunities through analysis. Alert management to potential areas of exposure and recommend solutions to ensure on-budget performance
Research and recommend opportunities to drive operating efficiencies and improve compliance. Make recommendations to executive team based on findings
Leverage systems to create/update in-depth corporate reporting on key components of the Company’s financial statements, including metrics that drive the business forward
Work closely with the accounting team during monthly close cycles to ensure accuracy
Drive continuous improvement in business operations processes to support strategy execution
Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed
Qualification
Required
Good foundational knowledge and experience in business
Firm understanding of financial concepts and services
Ability to work with a wide range of business partners as their finance partner and resource
Proactivity and a strategic approach
Ability to multi-task with a high degree of analytical proficiency and integrity
