Responsibilities
Assist with preparing and processing customer invoices using Deltek Costpoint
Review billing data for accuracy, completeness, and proper documentation
Support billing for government contracts, including cost-plus, time & materials, and fixed-price contracts
Help ensure invoices comply with contract terms, funding limits, and company policies
Track billed and unbilled amounts and assist with basic account reconciliations
Respond to internal and external inquiries related to invoices and billing status
Maintain organized billing files and electronic records
Assist with month-end billing activities and reporting
Support audit requests by gathering billing documentation as needed
Follow established procedures to maintain DCAA-compliant billing practices
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in accounting, finance, or business preferred
0–2 years of experience in billing, accounting, or an administrative role
Exposure to or interest in government contracting strongly preferred
Experience with Deltek Costpoint is a plus, but training may be provided
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Basic understanding of numbers and financial data
Good organizational and time-management skills
Ability to follow procedures and meet deadlines
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Team-oriented with a positive, customer-service mindset
