Start in 2026 SummerTikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Content Design Intern to support their Monetization team. The intern will learn how UX writing enhances product experiences while collaborating with cross-functional teams to create impactful content for ads and monetization.

Responsibilities
Write and iterate on clear, conversational UI copy for ads and monetization experiences, such as labels, buttons, helper text, and system messages
Partner with product design, PM, engineering, research, and localization to learn the workflow and incorporate feedback quickly
Help maintain and apply content guidelines, voice, and terminology so experiences feel consistent across surfaces and markets
Participate in design critiques and reviews, and use what you learn to improve clarity, consistency, and content quality
Support process improvements for scaling content work, such as organizing patterns, documenting decisions, and tracking common issues
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program; strong interest in UX writing, content design, product writing, communications, HCI, or a related field
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and revise quickly based on feedback
Comfortable collaborating in a cross-functional environment (design, product, engineering, research)
Must be able to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026
Preferred
A portfolio of writing samples (class projects are fine) that shows clarity, audience awareness, and iteration
Familiarity with design collaboration tools, such as Figma, and interest in how words work inside product UI
