They are seeking a driven and strategic Business Outreach Coordinator to help grow their ground transportation business by networking with key officials and community leaders, while also assisting the VP of Operations with contract administration and business development.

Responsibilities

Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies to stakeholders
Assist with managing contracts for the largest ground transportation Company in the western United States, servicing 23 city-wide entities, ensuring successful service delivery, and interacting with numerous city and county agencies
Networking and community outreach in all contract and prospect cities
Collaborate with program participants and provide advice and guidance on transportation programs
Create practical tracking tools and maintain databases to monitor and analyze program effectiveness
Monitor program budgets
Represent the Company at transportation fairs and community events to increase brand awareness
Cultivate relationships with community leaders; perform prospecting to service coordinators at senior buildings, churches, park districts, senior groups, social services organizations, food pantries, and other community resource centers serving seniors
Assist in business development
Prepares and organizes meetings and conferences
Prepares DOT Reports and DMV pull notices
Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, takes dictation, composes and types correspondence, reads and routes incoming mail, and performs other administrative and clerical duties

Required

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
Ability to apply concepts of introductory algebra and geometry
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
The employee is regularly required to walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
