HR Operations Specialist

The Kraft Group & Affiliates is seeking an HR Operations Specialist who will primarily support HR Technology solutions, Compensation Management, Payroll, and HR Projects. This role involves collaborating with the HR Operations Team to ensure data integrity, provide customer service, and assist with payroll processing and audits.

Responsibilities

Support the architecture of the HRIS System including data integrity, data validation, development of system optimization and technology upgrades
Provide exceptional, timely internal customer service and support to the entire HR Team. Respond to HRIS tickets and utilize the ticket system to understand themes and patterns of knowledge gaps for training and effective communication
Responsible for Position Management and serving the HR functional units in reporting and analytics, system integration and support, and data integrity and reconciliation
Conduct audits of Human Resources data to preserve integrity and accuracy
Facilitate processing assigned payrolls including a comprehensive reconciliation to minimize payroll errors prior to final approval. This will include but not limited to; deferred compensation retroactive calculations for RROP to determine weighted overtime payments
Assist with the documentation of payroll processes to institutionalize best practices. Compile payroll reports biweekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually including a quarterly review of wage and tax information for accuracy and problem resolution
Remain current on all state, federal and local laws, statutes, and regulations pertaining to assigned areas of responsibility
Maintenance of payroll records, documents and policies and procedures in the master repository
Special projects and assignments as business dictates
Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA

Required

Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow
Must possess strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and responsiveness

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Payroll experience required; certified payroll professional preferred
Licensed payroll professional preferred
