Responsibilities

Help us push the limits of the next generation of interactive experiences on our platform
Work in a team developing system level frameworks enabling these experiences
Collaborate with creative teams across Apple and VPG
Work quickly and smartly to help determine the viability of ideas and technologies
Have a keen understanding of GPUs and lower level programming to deliver real time experiences on Apple Silicon platforms
Bring an ambition to improve, innovate and explore technologies to enable creatives to surprise and delight users

Qualification

Required

BS/MS in Computer Science OR equivalent degree
8+ years of relevant industry experience with the following:
Programming skills and knowledge of C++ or Swift
Experience developing core 3D systems (ECS, animation, gameplay, input, networking or rendering) for real-time interactive apps
Proficient in mathematics for 3D real-time applications (linear algebra)
Understanding of CPU/GPU hardware architecture and how that affects solutions
Proficient in at least one of the major modern graphics APIs (Metal, Vulkan, DirectX, Consoles, etc.)
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Experience delivering high quality software to end users

Preferred

Apple CPU/GPU architecture
Experience writing performant code using e.g. profiling tools, assembly, SIMD, compute, etc
Familiarity with macOS and Unix
