Plans, manages and coordinates County construction and year-around maintenance operations of the Road & Bridge and Weed Department employees and activities in support of them
Overseeing the maintenance and improvements on approximately 1400 lane miles of roadway
Managing a multi-million dollar annual budget
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's in Engineering
Professional Engineering License (Civil) in the State of Idaho or other state PE with Idaho reciprocity
At least five years' progressively responsible work experience in building and maintaining roads, highways and bridges
At least five years' supervisory and management experience within a highway or public works department
Equipment fleet management, operations and maintenance experience
Material, stockpile, inventory control experience
Excellent communication and leadership skills
