Responsibilities
Develop, document, and maintain quality plans for new products
Conduct hands‑on testing of products, components, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with quality and engineering standards
Design and build test fixtures and perform testing on systems incorporating fluidics, mechanical components, electronics, and software
Apply working knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and electromechanical systems
Utilize quality testing fundamentals, including defect identification, failure analysis, troubleshooting, test report generation, and defect submission
Operate in a laboratory environment with controlled temperatures and potential exposure to varying conditions such as noise, fumes, and temperature fluctuations
Identify opportunities for improvement within QA processes and collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to enhance product quality
Communicate effectively through clear verbal, written, and listening skills
Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S principles
Support additional functions as needed, including software, fluidics, mechanical, and electrical teams
Safely lift and handle equipment weighing 20–30 lbs
Perform other duties as assigned
Required to be in the office, Monday through Friday
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related scientific discipline
Minimum of 3 years of experience working with complex systems involving electronics, software, fluid, and mechanical components
At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within an engineering environment
Prior experience in a laboratory setting; beverage industry experience is preferred
Proficiency with QA testing tools, equipment, methodologies, and basic computer applications
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex quality‑related issues
Excellent analytical, technical, and organizational abilities with a solid foundation in engineering principles
Strong written and verbal communication skills for following procedures, reviewing documentation, and completing reports
Preferred
Prior experience in a laboratory setting; beverage industry experience is preferred
